Trapshooting is the sport of this Italian who dominated the sport at the beginning of the 1980's. Trapshooting is a sport derived from clay pigeon shooting. Participants fire shotguns at a maximum of targets catapulted into the air at varying angles and speeds by mechanical devices. Giovanetti won two consecutive Olympic titles, in Moscow and in Los Angeles in 1984.
