This Canadian skier was so competitive that she was nicknamed the Mongoose. From British Colombia, in the Rocky Mountains, where she learned to ski, she took the luxury of leading Marielle Goitschel in the Giant Slalom in 1968. However, the French skier took her revenge in the special slalom.
