This son of a truck driver is a sprint locomotive. He was also one of the heroes of the Atlanta games where he won the 400 m sprint before winning the 200 m a few days later. He was nicknamed ET. Johnson was in fact the master of sprint and won 6 World titles in 1991, 1993 and 1995. His style was one of power and speed and impressed all those who saw him run. He also won the Gold medal for the 4x400 m American team relay in Barcelona in 1992.
