Rosi Mittermaier topped the world skiing bill in 1976, the year of the Innsbruck games at which she won two gold medals for the downhill and the special slalom.She was expected to gain a third gold in the giant slalom, but only finished second.That same year, she won the World Cup for alpine skiing.
